Situational Emergency Plan Templates Pupil
Release/Evacuation
Certain actions may involve releasing students
from school or relocating them from the school site
to a safe alternate location possibly at a time
when parents expect their children to be in school.
The Superintendent will authorize such actions only
in times of extreme emergency, and all possible
attempts to notify parents as to the situation will
be made as soon as possible. In any case, students
shall be released by school attendance staff only.
Daily attendance is a critical component in
preparing for any emergency or crisis.

assembly areas on the school site.

trees to notify parents of
the situation. Information may include:

b. Type of emergency
c. action to be taken
d. when and where parent may pick up student
e. Any other pertinent information (be brief)
3. Notification of
Staff: Teachers and other school staff
members should be notified of the action plan as

safe and authorized manner.
