Procedures
1. Notify the principal/designee.
2. Notify law
enforcement agency.
3. Secure medical
assistance as needed.
4. Identify the
responsible/s and victim/s. Isolate the
responsible/s in a predetermined location.
5. Report incidents
and any injuries to the Superintendent's Office.
6. Notify student
counselor or social worker, as needed.
7. Have a
substitute teacher ready to teach if the victim is
a member of the teaching
staff.
8. Notify
parents/guardian if responsible/s or victim/s are
student's.
9. Complete a
school incident report.
10. Meet with
faculty and staff, if necessary, to diffuse rumors.
