Student Government

STUDENT OFFICERS & DUTIES

PRESIDENT: Genevieve Maczynski

1) Will preside at student council meetings

2) Responsible for calling all meetings

3) Responsible for equal distribution of duties and reponisbilities to council members

4) Recognized as head of the student body

VICE-PRESIDENT: Ashley Fairbanks

1) Will preside at the meetings when the President is not present

2) Will maintain order and procedures during council sessions

3) Be the head of all committees

SECRETARY: Daniel "Paanay" Orr

1) Shall write and post minutes for all council meetings

2) Shall be in charge of all student council correspondance, including Alaska Association of Student Government (AASG)

TREASURER: Charles "Chuckie" Herman

1) Shall be responsible for maintaining a record of all financial affairs of the student council

2) Shall report to the student council on matters concerning the budgeting for the school

3) Shall be one of the co-signers of the student activity account

ADVISORY SCHOOL BOARD (ASB) REPRESENTATIVE: Kelsey Wallace

1) Shall attend all ASB meetings and give reports as needed

2) Shall serve as a correspondant between ASB and students of BRHS

PUBLIC RELATIONS: Joseph Warren

1) Shall write updates of Student Council news and events for school marquis

2) Will be responsible for changing the Student Council bulleten board monthly

3) Will be responsible for organizing all student activities

4) Will post a weekly schedule of student activities

5) Will be responsible for submission of articles and/or pictures to The Tundra Drums and The Delta Discovery

SOCIAL CHAIRS: Dimitri Alexiadis and Alex Peña

1) Maintain school spirit

2) Shall plan, prepare, and run pep assemblies

3) Shall help coordinate other assemblies
