The Bethel Boys and Girls will be headed to Anchorage next week to participate
in the Basketball State Championships. Both teams placed second at the Western
Conference Tournament held in Dillingham last weekend. The top seeded Warrior
Girls had to defeat the home team Dillingham twice in order to qualify. The Boys
had to work their way back from a tough lost to Barrow in the semifinals. Victories
over Dillingham and Unalaska gave them an opportunity for a remach against the
second seeded Barrow Whalers. The Boys came out on top this time.

The Cheerleaders were crowned Western Conference Champions with another
fantastic job
